What is RYPEN? RYPEN is an annual 3 day residential for 14-17 year olds sponsored by the Rotary Clubs within Rotary International District 9500 (SA/NT). This Rotary Youth Services program develops and empowers the youth of today. Our guest speakers and youth team leaders inspire awardees on topics like self-belief, working in teams, managing conflict, public speaking and goal setting. The event also allows networking between a diverse range of like-minded youth.

When is RYPEN? RYPEN will be held on  (all closed for 2017).

Where is RYPEN? RYPEN will be held in the picturesque setting of Nunyara Conference Centre, Belair, South Australia. Awardees will be picked up and dropped off from either Twelve25 Salisbury Youth Enterprise Centre or Franklin Street Bus Station, Adelaide by coach.

Who should attend RYPEN? 14-17 year olds  involved in their local communities who have not previously attended RYPEN.

How much will RYPEN cost me? Your sponsoring Rotary Club will sponsor the full cost of your all inclusive attendance ($350) – all you have to do is get to Salisbury or Adelaide to have the bus pick you up and drop you off on the Friday (mid afternoon) and Sunday (late afternoon).

How do I register to attend RYPEN?

To apply to attend RYPEN:
Applications closed for 2017

To register your Rotary Club to sponsor a RYPEN awardee (to be completed by Rotarians):

If you have a relationship with a Rotary Club and they are agreeing to sponsor you then your place is guaranteed, if you don’t have a relationship with a Rotary Club we cannot guarantee your place on RYPEN but will try to pair you up with a Rotary Club. If you are interested in attending RYPEN please get in contact with your local Rotary Club (see contact details below if you need help with this) to organise sponsorship.

What 2016 RYPEN awardees thought of RYPEN: 'it was the best 3 days of the year' 'this was an excellent experience that I thoroughly enjoyed. At first I was shocked by the diversity of cultures coming from the sheltered rural area I am from, but it was a great experience to meet so many like-minded people. So thank you!' 'RYPEN has been an incredible experience, coming here and not knowing anyone and feeling so included and in such a supportive environment. I want to say thankyou to Rotary'
